Seva Rzhondkovksy was born in Kiev in 1966. He grew up between Kiev’s artistic environment and a tiny village near Chernobyl. Though he enjoyed drawing since childhood, he began painting in 1995, after arriving in Mexico. His travels and interest in stories increased to tell stories through painting. After experimenting with a variety of mediums, he found acrylic on canvas or wood to be the best. His paintings have been displayed at many venues in the Pacific Northwest. The painters that influence him the most are Niko Pirosmani, Mexican muralists, Henri Rousseau, and Ivan Generalic.
